Issues

Minnesota has one of the highest tax rates in the nation, both for individuals and employers. Minnesota can be an amazing place to live, work, and raise a family, but high taxes are putting unrealistic pressure to sustain, on the working family. We need to lower taxes for employers and employees to allow our working class to keep more of what they work hard for. 

Having worked in law enforcement for 11 years, I will always stand for and believe we need to support our law enforcement more than ever.  In order for our society to thrive, we must have fully functioning law enforcement.  How can we thrive as a society if we can not feel safe in our communities? I will continue to be a fighter for our law enforcement. Law enforcement secures our foundation in our communities and allows for other vital entities to thrive and build.

We MUST stop the government from overspending and being more responsible with our tax dollars. We can not continue down this road of frivolous spending, that is unsustainable.

I believe in parental rights in education.  Fortunately, we live in a free society, but we do not feel like we are for some reason. Neither the Department of Education nor the Teachers Union should have the power in your children’s education. I believe in school choice and would vote for a school voucher program and push to give parents their sense of security back. 

As a United States Marine Corps Veteran, I know the men and women who have fought for our freedoms, have the respect of the people.  Let's make sure it is known in St. Paul, MN.  We need to ensure we support our veterans, and I will continue to fight for them. 

Minnesotans have once been known to be referred to as being Minnesota Nice.  We seem to be losing that.  It is now time to bring back that Minnesota Nice. It is time we start building relationships instead of dividing our communities more.  There is a little sang that rings louder more today than ever: United We Stand, Divided We Fall. 

 I support the rights of law-abiding gun owners to keep and bear arms.  I am a devoted outdoorsman and gun owner.  I love hunting upland, small game, and large game. I will fight to protect those rights.

I am pro-life.  I believe, we need a common sense consensus of when life begins.
